Movie review – Angry babies in love
The Malayalam movie ‘Angry babies in love’ is a good entertainer directed by Saji Surendran. The main castings in the movie are Anoop Menon and Bhavana. Other supporting actors are Joju George, Nobi, Anusree etc.
The story of ‘Angry Babies in Love’ is based on the life of a newly wedded couple who were migrated to Mumbai. Their migration was absolutely illegal. The role of the couple Jeevan and Sara are played by Anoop Menon and Bhavana respectively. Jeevan’s ambition was to become a famous photographer while Sara attempts to manage household matters. But unfortunately, the process of dreaming their future does not last long. There happens some bitterness in their family life which moves up to legal divorce. But an unexpected event changes the atmosphere of their tense family life. Some of their friends from native place come to visit the couple. This forces them to live as if nothing has happened in their love life.
This gives way for a series of dramatic, interesting and funny incidents coated with comics. The artificial behavior adopted by them to exhibit the couple’s lifestyle in front of their friends is the key attraction of the movie.
During the two hours duration the movie does not loose its pace. People never get bored during this time-frame. This is the main reason behind the scoring of the movie ‘Angry babies in love’.
Along with Anoop Menon, Bhavana too have performed well in humorous scenes. The supporting actors also have risen up to the expectation.

സജി സുരേന്ദ്രൻ സംവിധാനം നിർവഹിക്കുന്ന ‘Angry babies in love’ ഒരു കോമഡി ചിത്രമാണ്. അനൂപ് മേനോനും ഭാവനയും പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ നോബി, അനുശ്രീ, മുക്ത എന്നിവരും അഭിനയിക്കുന്നു.
മുംബൈലെക്ക് ഒളിച്ചോടുന്ന നവദമ്പതികളും അവരുടെ ജീവിതവുമാണ് ‘Angry babies in love’ -ന്റെ കഥ. ഇടുക്കിയിലെ ഒരു ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ സ്വന്തം സ്റ്റുഡിയോ നടത്തുകയും അവിടെ തന്നെ ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫറായി ജോലി ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ജീവൻ (അനൂപ് മേനോൻ) അതേ നാട്ടിൽ തന്നെ ഒരു പണക്കാരി കുട്ടിയായ സാറ(ഭാവന) യുമായി പ്രണയത്തിലാകുന്നു. ഈ ബന്ധത്തോട് സാറയുടെ വീട്ടുകാർ എതിർപ്പ് കാണിച്ചതോടെ ഇരുവരും നാട് വിട്ടു. നാട്ടില് നിന്നും ഒളിച്ചോടി ബോംബൈയില് എത്തുന്ന ജീവനും സാറയും. ഒട്ടേറെ സ്വപ്നങ്ങളുമായി ഒരുമിച്ച് ജീവിക്കാന് ആഗ്രഹിച്ച ഇവര്ക്ക് വിവാഹ ശേഷം പരസ്പരം മനസിലാക്കാന് പോലും കഴിയാതെ ആയി. എല്ലാം വഴക്കിലാണ് അവസാനിക്കുക. ജീവന് താന് വലിയൊരു ഫോടോഗ്രാഫര് ആയി തീരും എന്നൊരു സ്വപ്നത്തില് നീങ്ങുമ്പോള് ജീവിക്കാനുള്ള ചിലവുകള് എങ്ങനെ നേരിടും എന്നതായിരുന്നു സാറയുടെ പ്രശനം. ഇവരുടെ വഴക്കും തുടര്ന്നു നടക്കുന്ന രസകരമായ മൂഹൂര്ത്തങ്ങളും ആണ് സിനിമ പറയുന്നത്.
ആകെ മൊത്തം പ്രശ്നങ്ങളാണെങ്കിലും സിനിമയിൽ നിറഞ്ഞു നിൽക്കുന്ന നർമ്മ തന്തുക്കൾ ചിത്രത്തെ പ്രേക്ഷകരോട് അടുപ്പിക്കുന്നു. പുറമേ ഉത്തമ ദമ്പതികളായി നടിക്കുന്ന ഇരുവരുടെയും അഭിനയമാണ് ചിത്രത്തിൻറെ പ്രധാന ആകർഷണം. പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് പുതുമയുള്ള കഥ അലെങ്കിൽ കൂടി കഥയിലെ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളും ചിത്രത്തിന് ആകെ ഒരു പുതുമയുടെ ഫീൽ നൽകുന്നുണ്ട്. ഒരു നിമിഷവും ബോര് അടിപ്പിക്കാതെ ചിത്രത്തെ മുന്നോട്ട് കൊണ്ടുപോകാന് കോമഡി രംഗങ്ങള് സഹായിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇതു തന്നെ ആണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൻറെ വിജയ ഘടകവും.
