ഫെയ്‌സ്ബുക്കില്‍ അപ്‌ലോഡ് ചെയ്ത ഫോട്ടോയ്ക്കുള്ള അഭിപ്രായങ്ങള്‍ അതിരു കടന്നപ്പോള്‍ ചുട്ട മറുപടിയുമായി അതിരു കടന്നപ്പോള്‍ നടി കനിഹ . ഫേസ്ബുക്കിലൂടെയാണ് കനിഹ മറുപടി നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.താന്‍ ഒരു സ്വതന്ത്ര്യ വ്യക്തിയാണ്. മതിയായ മൂല്യങ്ങള്‍ തനിക്കുണ്ട്. ഏതൊക്കെ അവസരങ്ങളില്‍ ഏതൊക്കെ വസ്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ ധരിക്കണമെന്ന് അറിയാമെന്നുമാണ് കനിഹ പറയുന്നത്. ഞാന്‍ ഒരു വിനോദയാത്രയ്ക്ക് പോയതാണ് സാരിയുമുടുത്ത് ബീച്ചില്‍ ചുറ്റിത്തിരിയണമെന്നാണോ നിങ്ങള്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത്. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രായമറിയാമോയെന്നും നിങ്ങളെ ഓര്‍ത്ത് ലജ്ജിക്കുന്നുവെന്നുമായിരുന്നു ഒരു സ്ത്രീയുടെ കമന്റ്. ഏതൊക്കെ വസ്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ എതൊക്കെ അവസരങ്ങളില്‍ ധരിക്കാമെന്ന് തനിക്ക് അറിയാമെന്നും കനിഹ തൻറെ ഫേസ്ബുക്കിൽ കുറിക്കുന്നു.

Was holding myself back but after seeing a lot of messages and comments for a picture of mine wearing shorts I can’t stop myself from writing this.
Some are saying that they thought I was a good girl and all of a sudden they saw a pic of me in shorts they think I’ve become a bad girl.. Really???
So a woman asks me.” Do you know your age…shame on you for Wearing shorts!!!
I will wear shorts as long as I am comfortable wearing them in appropriate places whether I am 20,30 ,40 or even 50…
For heavens sake I went a beach vacation…so a question to you dear woman you were expecting me to roam around in sarees in a beach town like phi phi…???
Really???
A man asks me “you know you are a mother.. Very bad of you….”
Of course I know I am a mother..in fact a proud mother of my adorable four year old son…at least my son will not grow upto be a shallow narrow minded man…he will learn to respect women for their values and actions and not their clothes…
I am a free individual with enough moral values who knows to dress up appropriately for given ocassions..my family and dear ones respect me for who I am….many of you FB friends admire me for the kind of person I am….the rest of you who judge me please keep judging…I will continue to hope & pray that y’all will gain wisdom some day and invest the time you spend on judging women to impart good values to your children..
