വിവാദ വാർത്തകളിൽ പ്രതികരിക്കാതെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുനില്ക്കുകയായിരുന്ന നടി മഞ്ജു വാര്യര് ആദ്യമായി ശബ്ദമുയര്ത്തുന്നു. അതും ഡല്ഹി പെണ്കുട്ടിക്കായി. തന്റെ ഫെയ്സ്ബുക്കിലാണ് മഞ്ജുവിന്റെ പ്രതികരണം.കുറ്റവാളിയുടെ വാക്കുകളല്ല, മറിച്ച് മറ്റുള്ള പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ വാക്കുകളാണ് തന്നെ അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തിയതെന്നും മഞ്ജു ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് പോസ്റ്റില് കുറിക്കുന്നു.ക്യാമറയ്ക്ക് മുന്നിലെത്തിയപ്പോഴുള്ള ആകാംക്ഷ കൊണ്ടല്ല, അവര് സംസാരിച്ചത് അവരുടെ ഉള്ളിലിരിപ്പാണെന്നും നമ്മുടെ സമൂഹത്തില് മേല്ക്കൊയ്മ നേടിനില്ക്കുന്ന ദുഷിച്ച പ്രവണതയാണിതെന്നും മഞ്ജു തൻറെ ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് പോസ്റ്റിൽ കുറിച്ചു. എല്ലാക്കാര്യത്തിലും സ്ത്രീകളുടെമേല് പഴി ചാരുന്ന പുരുഷകേന്ദ്രീകൃത സമ്പ്രദായത്തെയും അവര് വിമര്ശിക്കുന്നു.ഈ രാജ്യത്ത് നിലനില്ക്കുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിയുന്നതിനായി ഒരു ഡോക്യുമെന്ററിയുടെയും ആവശ്യം നമുക്കില്ല, മറിച്ച് ഇവിടെയുള്ള സ്ത്രീകളോട് അവരുടെ എല്ലാദിവസത്തെയും അനുഭവങ്ങള് പങ്കുവെയ്ക്കാന് പറഞ്ഞാല് മതി. നിര്ഭയയെ പോലെ ചിലര് പോരാടും, മറ്റു ചിലര് അത് മൂകമായി ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങും ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞാണ് അവര് ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് പോസ്റ്റ് അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.ഒപ്പം വനിതാ ദിന ആശംസകളുംതാരം അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

With intense pain and a heavy heart comes this post from me.I am someone who never comments on any controversial issues as a rule and policy but here the woman in me keeps her head high and wishes all my fellow female counter parts a very strong Woman’s day.May you have the courage to live in this world. Posting my views on the India’s daughter documentary… Nobody absolutely nobody can disrespect India’s daughter. There has been a lot of discussions on how the convict could make statements and whether it is glorification of the convicts. For me it is not the convict’s comments that is surprising or shocking. The group of men… No animals were of disgusting mindset is beyond doubt. But what is the justification for the lawyers who have made some shocking remarks. These are supposed to be professional individuals who are an important part of the society. Did the camera get them excited … No they spoke their mind… The sick mind that seems to be a dominant phenomenon in our society, wanting to run the women down and blame her for everything that could possibly be wrong. We don’t need a documentary to tell us what minds exists in this country. Ask a woman and she experiences it, everyday. Some fight back, like the valiant Nirbhaya did and others just silently bear it! Happy women’s day.
